    Hi

I would like to setup this solution

    AP11-----SWITCH1----AP17_mainhouse ))) mesh ((( flat_AP17---SWITCH2----AP11

    Router will connect to Switch1

According to the deployment guide this will not work as tthe flat_AP17 needs to only have a power source and cannot be connected to a switch?

    thank you

@Bazz_Tars Correct you cannot Mesh and then bridge off of that AP.

I don't know if you have to have an AP17 for your application.  I just setup an AP11 off a switch (A) and then mesh to an AP11D that is connected to another switch (B).  The switch (B) has several devices off of it connected to eth1 on the AP11D.  I don't know if it is a limitation but I tried originally to have the AP11D connected to the switch for eth0 PoE but it wouldn't mesh.  I had to physically power it by external power suppply and connect to the eth1 for physical network traffic.  I don't know if I just used PoE injector if it would power.  I have AC nearby so it didn't impact me.  Also don't have additional AP11 off the switch (B) so no idea if that would work...might be forced to mesh that in too.

    Hi

Thanks for info, interesting workaround, I would have had to use 2x AP17 with only 1x ethernet port each
