  • 1.  1930 line speed using static routes (Less then1gbps)

Hello, I have an older 1920 that I want to replace with a 1930. Its primary function is to take a 1gb copper isp handoff and route traffic from our main data center to a verizon 1gbps line to the internet

The 1920 has never been able to get above 400mbps when routing.  It can get almost to 1gbps wire speed from switch port to switch port thought.

Can the 1930 achive close to 1gbps speed when using the most basic routing. (Nothing more). Or will it suffer the same issue as the 1920 and choke on 1gbps speeds when routing?

    Thanks

    Hi,

We haven't received any performance issues with 1930 so far with routing enabled. Let me know if you experience any issues.

To confirm you expect the 1930 to be able to route at line\port speed.  This unit can route packets at 1gbps?

Do you have any documentation for this?

    Thank you
