  • 1.  Aruba Instant On 1830 24G - password lost

    Hi !

    Just installed my new switch, and gave it a strong password - which I unfortunately lost.
    Resetting to factory default, does reset network settings (back to dhcp), but it does not deafult username and password.

    Does anyone here know how to reset the username/password ?

    Hey Brian!

    Welcome to the #InstantOn family! Please follow the steps below to reset your password. If you have any issues, please let me know. 

    When you factory reset the switch, the entire configuration is reset which includes network settings and the credentials.

    After the factory reset you should be able to log in with the default username/admin without any password.

    Thanks, I can confirm that pressing the reset button, until the UID led starts blinking does indeed reset the password as well.
