    Hi,

    I need some help, Im about to buy a Aruba Instant On 1930 48G Class4 PoE 4SFP/SFP+ 370W Switch (JL686A) and I need to know if al the  ports can be POE if I need to?  in the near future (aprox, 6 months) I need to conect this switch ip phones,  and I wanted to know i f i could use the 48 ports with POE, and if there is a restriction o compatibilitu with the phones do I need a special brand ?

    Hi,

    From what I can see on Amazon, the listing suggests probably:

    Regardless of which switch you do purchase, you will need to check the power requirements of the IP phones , to ensure the switch power budget is not exceeded.
    For example, with the 370w capacity , if your phones require 15.4W, then you would be able to run approximately 24 phones.
    If the phones used 7w or less, then you'd possibly be able to run up to 48 ( assuming you used sfps as uplinks).
    It's also worth noting , all "instant on" switches do not include a CLI ( no ssh ) , so all configuration must done via the mobile app, or if you use local management mode, the web interface.
